Ya ya & K-lynPosted: December 12, 2011
Everyone has people they are drawn to. Daddy and Mommy are at the top of your list now, but who knows how long that will last. Your face lights up the moment you see your cousin Jasmine or as you like to call her “Ya Ya”. She always knows how to get you to laugh and it’s the most adorable laugh ever. Usually she does something out of the ordinary and it has you hysterical. I don’t know how she does it, but she does. I hate to admit it, but I’ve tried mimicking her games to see if I can get the same reaction, but have unfortunately no luck. You can thank her for your love of Pinkberry. She gave you your first taste and even caught the moment on camera. It was hilarious because your face crinkled up from the tartness and coldness of the yogurt. That didn’t stop you from wanting more though. I love days we get to pick up Jasmine from school and stop at Pinkberry on the way home. Both of you love it and that makes my day. We don’t get to see her that much so we have to take advantage of the time we do get to spend with her. She is always so good to you and for that I am forever grateful for my wonderful niece.
Speaking of nieces….Kaelyn and you have a special bond. Being only a year apart, you guys are best friends. You love each other one minute and then don’t the next. She pushes you. You push her. It’s nothing too serious and luckily no one gets hurt. She takes your toys and you take hers. Just this week she spent a few days with us and decided your “Buzz Lightyear” is really hers. She carried it around with her the whole time nd even slept with it. We went home to Momo’s and she still had it and wouldn’t put it down. Luckily you don’t care about it at all. Auntie Shirani and I are constantly trying to teach you two to place nice, and while the majority of the time you do, those few instances you guys act like siblings more than cousins. You love each other and I’m sure will always have each other’s backs no matter what.
