Dear Chace & Harper,
Each and every morning, the first thing that Chace wants to have is his shake. It all started after he watched me drink one after my long run on the treadmill (at the time I was only running on the treadmill since I didn’t have a jogging stroller or anyone to watch Chace). I offered a little to him in his sippy cup and it was love at first sip! We both start the day off right by enjoying fruit and veggies in a tasty drink. I buy Amazing Grass Green Superfood at Whole Foods and while it may be a little expensive, it’s worth it to me knowing that we are getting in important nutrients. In a year or so, Harper will be enjoying this morning shake too!
Morning Shake (serves 2)
1 frozen banana (sliced before freezing)
1/2 cup almond milk (or any dairy or non-dairy product)
1 scoop Amazing Grass Green SuperFood (Chocolate flavor is our favorite)
1/2 tablespoon Peanut Butter
Optional: spinach, blueberries, strawberries, greek yogurt
Combine all ingredients in the blender. Serve and enjoy!
